New inventions are coming up with every passing day. This is true in every sector of our lives. When it comes to offices and schools there are materials for writing on when doing presentations and they are referred to as boards. For a long period, the black ones have been used, but they are slowly but surely being replaced by a new version of the same which are referred to as dry erase boards.
The surfaces of these objects have a smooth glossy surface which is also very easy to clean. They are white in color and in fact, another name for them is dry wipe or white board. One thing about them is that you cannot use chalk to write on them. You will require some alcohol based markers, whose marks are quite presentable and legible, yet easy to clean.
Dry erase surfaces are made of different materials like melamine resin steel coating. One material that is more durable than the melamine is porcelain, which does not fade and which does not allow the ink from the markers to penetrate into the inner areas of the object. When cleaning the surface though, it is important that you ensure that you use the correct solvents for cleaning, otherwise you may end up damaging the surface and rendering it unusable.
When it comes to the price, these new forms of writing materials are more expensive as compared to their previous counterparts which were black in color. However, they are portable and light in weight. Again, you can use a variety of differently colored marker pens on the surface, and this will give you no hard time while cleaning them. Go for them, they are you are looking for.
