At times all we want is a delicious fried meal, and maybe with that brown yummy color. There are of course different cookwares that can give us this, but a frying pan does magic. Unlike today, in the past this pans had flared sides and were completely lidless. However, when it comes to adding a lid to prepare certain dishes, it absolutely changes to a Sauté pan.
Today,the structure of this pans is incredible, it gradually accumulates and spread heat which guarantees a well cooked meal. In fact, a combination of Aluminum and Teflon makes this amazing model. Traditional ones which were made of cast iron compared to today’s stainless steel pans.We should all be thankful to the technological advancements.
The secret in frying generally depends on the features of the frying pan. For instance, how good it can conduct heat, how much oil can be added in it and so on. Nevertheless, some basic skills will definitely come in handy for making an exquisite dish. An example when cooking is that you need to know the right amount of oil required since frying fish and making a pancake are two different things.
Preserving the pan is vital by all means. In fact, in the past days cast iron pans would not be washed but wiped clean. Can you actually believe it that they thought complete removal of greasy layer would bring destruction. May be it would or wouldn’t but if you prefer this traditional method, please take extra care to keep the pan in a good cooking condition and a clean environment.
