Flowers

As you look around your home you will find that flowers are an everyday occurrence whether we planted them or not. Flowers provide us with all the fragrances we want and it is because of this sweet sensual smell that we actually decided to create perfumes and colognes so as to have those smells stick on us for longer than a day or two.

There are several types of flowers out there and around us and learning about them is a good and educative way to heighten our senses.

Knowing what flower produces what smell or fragrant isn’t such a bad idea especially if you work in the perfume industry. You might just find a smell you want to produce. Types of flowers range from the ones that bloom during summer, winter, spring and autumn. They are usually some that bloom annually, perennially and biennially.

Finding the right types of flowers for your garden depends on how much you want to spend as well as how willing you are to devote your time to your garden. These especially applies to special flowers like exotic flowers, tropical flowers and the other flowers that depend on more time than ordinary flowers will.

If you are really looking to make your garden one of a kind then you should try a variety of flowers such as baby’s breath, carnations, tulips, and daffodils mixed in with red and white roses. These flowers also mixed with Viola, pansy, foxglove, and alyssums, which are hardy annual flowers, can make your garden look great. You can also include some tender annuals such as morning glory, petunias, impatiens, begonias and globe amaranth, which will provide a mixture of colors. Whatever the flower, mixing it up will make your garden look beautiful and add more flavor to your backyard.
