Sprinkler Systems
Sprinkler systems are not only used in irrigation but also in the putting out of accidental fires. Sprinkler irrigation systems are used in lawn and garden maintenance. They are made according to the different needs.
Some are suitable for small gardens or lawns while others can be used in large vast of land. The intensity or speed of water discharge also varies with the type of sprinkler system. Some are best suited for flat lands while others can be used in land that slopes or is uneven.
The sprinkler systems can either be automatic or manual based on individual needs. People who travel a lot or are very busy prefer the automatic ones. These are set to go on and off at particular times during the day or night. They also have rain sensors and they shut down when it rains.
The fire sprinkler systems are used to put off accidental fires. They are specially made according to one’s needs. Some are for home set-ups while others are for office or large organizations. The places where they use a lot of inflammable goods use more advanced forms of the fire sprinkler systems. The systems basically are made of a fire detector, sprinkler head, pipes, alarm and the water source. The fire detectors go off when they detect a fire and put on the whole system. This makes water flow to the sprinkler head and out putting off the fire. The alarm is basically for warning people that there premises are on fire.
