This tools and equipment include; a nail cutter used in cutting and trimming the nails, nail files for shaping the edges and tips of the cut nails, a cuticle pusher for pushing the cuticles of the foot back into their place and a cuticle clipper that is used for clipping and shaping the edges of the cuticles.

An anti bacterial soap is also a must have in the kit. It normally helps in disinfection of the feet and also removing the dirt on the skin. Nevertheless, before using this soaps we should do an allergy test to ascertain that they’re good for our skin, otherwise they may react and cause some allergic reactions with our skin.

Other equipment or tools that are found in pedicure kits are orange wood stick and nail polish remover. The later is essential in removing nail polish and previous coats of nail paint. However, you should make sure this does not come in contact with any cuts. Orange wood stick is used for pushing the cuticles back and shaping the nails.
